HIND GAURAV AWARD AND GOLD MEDAL

Shri H.K. Sharma, Chairman & Managing Director, Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam Limited has been awarded Hind Gaurav Award & Gold Medal  by Indian Society for Industry Intellectual Development (ISIID).  The award had been presented by Shri Subodh Kant Sahai, Minister of State, Food Processing Industries, Govt. of India  at New Delhi on 16^th October 2008.

Shri H.K. Sharma has been honoured for his exemplary management of  Hydro Power Projects of the Corporation.  SJVN had implemented the country’s largest 1500 MW Nathpa Jhakri Hydoelectric Project  in Himachal Pradesh and executing four more projects in Himachal Pradesh.  The Company is also executing the hydroelectric projects in Uttarakhand and one Project in Nepal besides preparing DPR of two projects in Bhutan.
