1.  Objective
The objective of this scheme is to assist the employee in maintaining their vehicle in good condition.

2.  Coverage
2.1 This Scheme will cover all those employees who are drawing reimbursement of Monthly Conveyance Expenditure under the Scheme of Corporation.

3.  Amount of reimbursement of Expenditure
1.  Reimbursement of expenditure towards repair & maintenance of vehicle shell be made once in a financial year. Expenditure incurred on repair and maintenance of vehicle equivalent to two months’ rate of reimbursement of Monthly Conveyance applicable to the employee shall be reimbursed.

2.  Reimbursement under this Scheme shall commence from the Financial Year 1999-2000.

4.  Procedure
The reimbursement shall be made to the employee on certification basis. The claim shall be submitted by the employee to the Finance Deptt. in the prescribed proforma as at Annexure-A once every Financial Year.

5.  Special Condition
1.  The entitlement in respect of any given Financial Year shall be determined with reference to employee entitled as on 1st April of that year or on the date of sanction of Conveyance Reimbursement to employee concerned, whichever is later.

2.  In case of change of type of vehicle from lower to higher, the reimbursement of expenditure on repair and maintenance shall be allowed pro-rata calculated on a monthly basis.

3.  In case of revision in rates of Monthly Conveyance Reimbursement by the Company, the entitlement shall be worked out, accordingly, on pro-rata basis.

4.  In case of separation of the employee from the company on account of death, superannuation, resignation etc., the amount already reimbursed shall not be recovered.

5.  In case of loss of vehicle by way of theft/sale/any other reason the amount already reimbursed shall not be recovered.

6.  General
In case of any doubt or dispute regarding interpretation/implementation of the above rules, the same should be referred to Corporate Personnel Deptt. for decision/clarification.
