1	Geological Exploration Comprising Surface Mapping, Drilling and Drift works	Drilling (Barrage): Drilling works 1115m stands completed. Drifting Power House Site:  Power House Site: 78 m drift out of 265 m completed. Barrage Sites- i) For Desilting Basin: 172 m drift out of 216m completed. Work of drilling/drifting stopped by local people on 30.05.11 at PH and Barrage sites. Since the drilling works stands completed, the Contractor has been asked to mobilise and start the work.
2	EIA studies and EMP	The draft EIA/EMP Report stands submitted to Uttarakhand Environment Protection & Pollution Control Board (UEPPCB) on 29.10.11. For NBWL Clearance, the 5 part form has been completed except Part V to be filled by Principal Secretary, GoUK. Accordingly the case submitted by Chief Wild Life Warden to FRDC/Principal Secretary, GoUK. As per FRDC office the case will be first put up to State Board of Wild life and after its clearance the same will be approved by State Govt. The constitution of State Board of Wild Life is under process by GoUK.
3	Submission of application for diversion of Forest land & Govt. land.	Revised case of diversion of Forest land in view of changes in design of Penstock/Pressure shaft submitted to Dy. Director (WL) on 01.10.11. Joint inspection/verification of proposed land started on 13.12.11 and field work completed on 28.12.11. Details of land verification, type of trees & their value etc. are under compilation.
4	Acquisition of Private land required for execution of the project	Due to change in design of penstock and dropping of land at village Saur, the revised case was resubmitted to DM, Uttarkashi on 24.09.11, who forwarded the case to Tehsildar, Mori and further on 18.10.11 forwarded to concerned Patwaris. Additional land identified was included in main proposal and submitted to Tehsildar, Mori who further marked to Nayab Tehsildar and concerned Patwaries. Joint inspection/verification of proposed land started on 13.12.11 and field work completed on 28.12.11. Details of land verification, type of trees & their value etc. are under compilation.
5	Gauge & Discharge sites	Recording is being done regularly since 20.03.2010.
6	Hydro-Meterological observations	Recording is being done regularly using (Computerized) Weather Station.
7	Collection of silt data and its analysis	Regular collection of silt samples is in progress .
8	Mining Clearance	CAT Plan of the project was prepared and submitted to PCCF cum Chief wild life warden on 09.09.11 for approval who forwarded to PCCF Uttarakhand on 11.10.11. Matter is being pursued.
