Wangchu HEP with the revised installed capacity of 600MW as a run of river scheme on the river Wangchu in Bhutan will annually generate 2377.30 MUof energy.

The DPR is under preparation and scheduled to be submitted to CEA by December 2011. Geological investigation and surveys have been undertaken at the site.
