Drilling of Nx exploratory holes at Dam site and
HRT |
LoA issued on 27.12.2010. Drilling has been started at both Dam site and Power House site.
DPR submitted to CEA/MOE(RGoB) on dated 30.12.11 and presentation was given to RGoB authorities on 13.04.12.
Drilling Works
Dam site :Drilling work for 13 holes has been completed. Drilling at DH-10 has been abandoned after 13m drilling work. Relocation of hole is awaited for DH-15.Total Dam Site Drilling completed is 993m. Three additional drill holes at dam have been decided and are as under :
a) One drill hole EL 455 m on right bank on dam axis.
b) Two holes at river bed level at both banks of river at dam axis.
Power House site: Drilling of 13 holes has been completed. Total Power house drilling completed is 740 m. Six additional drill holes at PH site have been decided and are as under :
a) Two drill holes of 40m depth at both ends of PH along longer axis at EL 179.
b) Two drill holes of 40m depth at both ends of PH along shorter axis at EL 179. c) One drill hole of 40 m depth at TRC in outfall area. d) One drill hole along the alignment of penstock between EL 274 m and EL 179. |
